Special Naija Intelligence

Once upon a time, some Japanese Engineers invented a machine that could effectively catch rogues. They first launched it in their country and it caught 20 thieves in 5 minutes. The whole of Asia endorsed and credited this device. ... So, they decided to move to other parts of the world. They launched it in America and it caught 10 thieves in 6 minutes. In UK, it caught 7 thieves in 3 mins. Then, they decided to come to Africa. They went to South Africa, and the machine caught 5 thieves in 10 mins. They felt the machine should then be globally accepted, but NIGERIANS didn't agree.

The Lucky Saucer

In front of a delicatessen, an art connoisseur noticed a mangy little kitten lapping up milk from a saucer. The saucer, he realized with a start, was a very rare and precious piece of pottery.
He strolled into the store and offered 20 dollars for the cat. "It's not for sale," said the proprietor.

"Look," said the collector, "that cat is dirty and probably half wild, but I'm eccentric. I like cats that way. I'll raise my offer to 100 dollars."

"It's a deal," said the proprietor, and pocketed money on the spot.

"For that sum I'm sure you won't mind throwing in the saucer," said the connoisseur. "The kitten seems so happy drinking from it."

"Not a chance," said the proprietor firmly. "That's my lucky saucer. So far this week I've sold 15 cats."

The Magician and the Parrot

The magician chased the bird away.

The next day the magician was performing his highlight again (in front of a smaller audience) when the parrot walked onstage and declared, "It's in his pocket!"

The next day, as he was performing the highlight, he saw the parrot in the crowd. But before the parrot could

Adam and Eve

Sometimes women are overly suspicious of their husbands. When Adam stayed out very late for a few nights, Eve became upset. "You're running around with other women," she charged.

"You're being unreasonable," Adam responded. "You're the only woman on earth." The quarrel continued until Adam fell asleep, only to be awakened by someone poking him in the chest.

It was Eve. "What do you think you're doing?" Adam demanded.

"Counting your ribs," said Eve.
